Moringa is herbal plant of tropical origin, it is found and grown in a number of different areas of the world as an adaptable plant however is known to be native two continents in specific which are Asia and Africa from which they have been used and harvested for generations of time for medical home remedies and to fight off malnutrition.  In these certain tropical and subtropical areas they have been within their traditions for centuries mainly for consumption in their meals but also serve purpose for nutritional, medicinal and even industrial applications.

This is why it is seen to be found in humid areas as its growth rate isn’t restricted by the lack of rain and water that passes or is within these regions. This drought resistant plant allows for possible salvation of global agricultural dilemmas all parts of the world face and especially developing countries, as mentioned before it can easily tackle malnutrition with its richness in vitamins with such little quantities of it, but it’s ability to produce even through droughts can allow it provide nutrients for those who can’t harvest or have crops when there is a shortage of rain. The moringa is a very undemanding plant which thrives in the driest of soils and sand and higher altitudes or conditions, its properties allow it to play a very important role in soil and water conservation and quite surprisingly mitigate the effects of climate change.
